Partnership Douglas County and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the next Prescription Drug Take Back on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Bring unwanted, unused, or expired medications to be safely disposed of at the following locations:
- Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) – Main Office: 1038 Buckeye Rd, Minden, NV
- Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) – Substation at Tillman: 1281 Kimmerling Rd, Gardnerville, NV 89460
We will accept unused/expired prescriptions/liquids, over-the-counter pills, and pet medications. NO NEEDLES.
Please leave medication in its original container and mark out the patient’s name on the bottle.
