
Partnership Douglas County and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the next Prescription Drug Take Back on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Bring unwanted, unused, or expired medications to be safely disposed of at the following location:
- Douglas County Sheriff’s Office: 1038 Buckeye Road, Minden, NV
- Round Hill Safeway: 212 Elks Point Rd, Zephyr Cove, NV
- Walmart: 1511 Grant Ave, Gardnerville, NV
- Walmart – Topsy Lane: 3770 US-395, Carson City, NV
We will accept unused/expired prescriptions/liquids, over-the-counter pills, and pet medications. NO NEEDLES.
Please leave medication in its original container and mark out the patient’s name on the bottle.
