- According to the Nevada Middle School Youth Risk Behavior Survey in Douglas County (2009), these are the percentages of students who ever had sexual intercourse: 2001 – 49 percent, 2003 – 46 percent, 2005 – 44 percent, 2007 – 43 percent, 2009 – 49 percent.

- In 2008, there were 30 teen births by females ages 15-19.
